You'll never see the hacienda. It doesn't exist. The hacienda must be built. Auspicious Objects started as a bloated WordPress blog halfway through my college days (circa 2009, Madison, Wisconsin), featuring inconsequential-yet-overwrought Deep Thoughts™ on life and media. It...never really became more than that, and sometime in 2011 suffered the fate of most Wordpress blogs (i.e., abrupt, unceremonious abandonment). With the increasing enshittification of the internet, I'd like to take a few steps backwards and present to you this website, duct-taped together with tutorials and HTML code I remember from making websites in elementary school.
